Specifically designed for a single room application, the Flex Single Sided Fireplace Insert features one open side, enabling the flame to be viewed from the front. The bioethanol, true zero-clearance fireplace can be used to create a striking addition to a feature wall, integrated within cabinetry or a fireplace setting - whether in a residential dining room, indoor or outdoor living area, or commercial spaces.
The clean lines and 'all flame' configuration of the Flex 32SS means the entire viewing area is dedicated to the eye-catching flame, creating a harmonious blend of traditional style and contemporary design.
The XL500 burner, the 'baby' of the XL Series, delivers a stunning, long-lasting linear flame. It may be compact in size, but with a 5L capacity, this ethanol burner can heat up to 40m2.
Efficiency is a key feature of this burner, delivering up to 13 hours of heat generating flame off a single refill.

Burn times for our ethanol fireplaces vay based on flame size and fuel capacity of the burner. EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplaces will burn between 8-13 hours when full.

Without the need for a flue or pipe connection, EcoSmart Fires are extremely flexible and can be incorporated at any stage of your interior decorating, renovating or building works. How to install a TV or AV equipment above an ethanol fireplace?
This design can be achieved as long as the TV is protected. You have 3 possible solutions:
Solution 1: The TV needs a non-combustible mantel/ledge to act as a heat shield
Solution 2: The TV needs to be recessed in a niche
Solution 3: The TV needs to sit back off the level of the flame

A Bioethanol fireplace is an open fireplace that is fueled by bioethanol. A real flame is produced by the lighting of bioethanol, with a by-product being heat in the process. EcoSmart Fire’s indoor ethanol fireplaces are ventless, meaning all the heat stays in the room rather than escaping up a flue or chimney like it would with a traditional wood burning fireplace. Increased heat retention also means increased fuel efficiency. EcoSmart Fire’s collection of ethanol fireplaces offer a heat output ranging from 5,000 BTU - 20,000 BTU’s.
Do I need to service my ethanol fireplace in any way?
Yes, normal maintenance and care is very important! Instructions are included in the Installation, Operating and Maintenance Manual supplied with your EcoSmart Fire product.
